Review by hotel critic
I recently ringed in the New Year at Brooks Hotel in the heart of Temple Bar, and it was a delightful escape. Our upgraded room offered stunning views, perfect for my landscape-loving eye and was equipped with everything I needed for a cozy stay. The breakfast spread was exceptional - from continental offerings to cooked delights, it fueled us for a day of exploration around Dublin. The location couldn't be more central, just a stone's throw to St Stephen's Green for a leisurely stroll or run. The staff, aside from a slightly brusque check-in experience, were genuinely warm and attentive, even providing a toothbrush at lightning speed when I called down. I fell in love with the Jasmine Bar; it's been voted one of the Great Whisky Bars of the World! Sipping on a unique whisky while pondering over the beauty we'd seen that day was a lovely way to unwind. If you're looking for a blend of comfort and an ideal base for your Dublin adventures, Brooks Hotel is a gem.
